Winter Music Conference 2007

Soul Summit

For three of the hottest weeks in the city, OWM teamed up with the legendary Soul Summit guys and hosted the Ft. Greene Park Dance Party in Brooklyn. With the world reknowned Dj’s, bands, the classics, and the thousands of beautiful people enjoying themselves and the music, it was definitely something to experience! Get ready for next year! Next To Blow Showcase

During CMJ week here in NYC, OWM teamed up with DJ Hard Hittin’ Harry, Freddie Foxx, and the incomparable, blaster master KRS-One. The “Next To Blow Showcase” included OWM artists Mozim and Kween Kash. The night was full of surprises and special guest appearances. Including, DJ Premier, Smooth Da Hustla, GrandMaster Caz, Chip Fu “Fu Schnickens”, Hakim “Channel Live”, S-5 “Boogoe Down Productions”, Just-Ice, Wise Intelligence “Poor Righteous Teachers” , General Steele “Smiff & Wessun”, Tru Master “Wu-Tang Clan”. No one could have expected what went down that night at Element, including the speakers and mic going out, and “The Teacher” directing Hard Hittin’ Harry to just play something and lower a mic from the dj booth above. KRS-One freestyled like I have never seen anyone before in all my days. He is truly number 5,4,3,2, and 1.
